The University of Illinois Hospital and Healthcare System Department of Anesthesiology is seeking Five (5) Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA) to provide patient care and anesthesia assistance under the medical direction of an anesthesiologist on the Anesthesia Care Team. To qualify you must have the following: Current State of Illinois licensure as a registered professional nurse. Current State of Illinois licensure as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) or if pending initial certification, temporary State of Illinois CRNA license. Graduation from a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the AANA Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Education Programs or its predecessor. Current certification by the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists or recertification by the Council on Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists or their respective predecessors, or if pending initial certification, evidence of graduation from a Council of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs approved program Current BLS and ACLS certification PALS certification is encouraged.
