Work near Lake Michigan for the summer, with access to Chicago night life, boating, and so much more this summer! Our client in Chicago needs a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for July 1st forward, with a minimum of 2 months commitment. The board certified CRNA will be performing their own cases in a hospital based setting with some physician supervision. Cases will include bread and butter anesthesia, labor and delivery, orthopedics, and gynecology.
A certified registered nurse anesthetist (locum tenens) administers anesthesia in surgeries as required by, or in the absence of, an anesthesiologist physician. A CRNA will look at patient history in a preoperative setting in order to determine an optimal course of action, choosing the techniques and drugs that best suit the patient's unique physiology and medical history. During surgery, it is the CRNAs job to administer anesthesia and manage the patient's reactions ! accordingly.
Required Qualifications
Board Certif! ication and Illinois license are required.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be placed to candidates within driving distance, but not required for this position.
