Medline Industries, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Clinical Resource Manager located in the Chicago/Milwaukee area. This position is responsible for clinical engagements with current ! and prospective customers. The position effectively supports the General Line sales force, Regional Directors and the SPT Division’s sales objectives. We are seeking a dynamic, hard-working professional with at least seven years experience working in the OR. The position will also provide clinical support to other divisions (i.e. Surgery, Anesthesia, L&D, Cath Lab, Acute Care, Surgery Centers). A desire to work for a fast-paced, large corporate organization is a plus.
Responsible for providing in-depth clinical analysis which includes:
Customer Interface with Perioperative Leadership and a variety of healthcare professionals including: Surgeons, First Assistant, Circulating Nurse, Scrub Tech, ORT, Anesthesiologist, CRNA, Anesthesia Tech, Materials Managers, Central Sterile Department etc.
Analyzing surgical data (group and sort like procedures by specialty)
Gathering supply information to build new surgical pack programs or refresh exis! ting programs
Identifies and captures current surgica! l practice using an excel workbook template
Conduct utilization reviews for current surgical pack programs
Project preparation- pre-engagement project plans, post engagement summary, customer letter & reports
Identify standardization opportunities
Clinical review and assessment for best practice recommendations
Research and development-new ideas, product testing, clinical trials
Product in-servicing & evaluation for surgical drape and gown product line
Implementation- New surgical pack programs or products
Education -Lunch & Learn/Formal Customer Presentations
Involvement in key marketing activities as needed
Participation in key healthcare conferences such as OR Manager, APIC, AORN etc. as needed
Participation in Regional & National sales meetings
Weekly project reports
Required Skills

Minimum of 7 years O.R. experience.(Prefer CV or Ortho experience)
Computer Literate â€" Word and Excel (PowerPoint preferred)
Travel 80% (Across US and Regionally)
Good Communication skills â€" written and verbal
Outgoing and enjoys working with people
Quickly adapts and builds rapport in new environments
Adept at building positive customer relationships while providing clinical consultative feedback
Thorough understanding of the Operating Room environment
General OR Knowledge of all specialties
