Description: Saint Anthony Hospital is employing Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA) right now, this vacancy will be placed in Illinois. For detail informations about this vacancy opportunity kindly see the descriptions. Participates in pre-anesthetic preparation and evaluation. (30%)
Anesthesia equipment and supplies are prepared appropriately for procedures.

Evaluates the patient pre-operatively by interviewing and examining the patient; assesses data and selects appropriate anesthetic.
Procedural consent is verified prior to each procedure.
Patient specific anesthesia plan of care is formulated from the pre-surgical assessment and is reviewed with attending anesthesiologist when needed.
Implements, monitors and adjusts patient’s physiologic condition as appropriate for type of anesthesia and specific patient’s needs. (30%)
Transfers the responsibility for care of the patient to other qualified providers post-operatively to assure continuity of care and patient safety. (25%)
Report and completed documentation is provided upon transfer of the patient from intra-operative to post-operative care provider.
Acute and chronic post-operative pain management modalities are implemented.
Medications, fluids and ventilatory support are selected and ordered to facilita! te recovery from anesthesia.
The patient is discharge! d from the post-anesthesia care unit and provided with post-anesthesia follow-up, evaluation and care.
Participates in additional areas of responsibility, which are within the expertise of the individual CRNA. (5%)
Ensures appropriate documentation to sufficiently charge for services rendered . (10%)
