Overview:

First Entertainment Credit Union is looking for a Member Services Office II (MSO II) to join the team. The ideal candidate values the interactions they have with people on a consistent basis and love developing new relationships. At First Entertainment Credit Union the Member Services Officer II provides efficient, effective, and timely service to branch members. From promoting new products and services, speaking with members in person and on the phone, the MSO II models the highest level of service and with understanding that we must find the solution in every interaction.


This is a full-time, onsite non-exempt role, reporting to the Branch Manager in our Culver City location.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a centrical asset to the funding of our member's consumer loans by following up on new and pending consumer loan applications.
  • Coach and develop others within the branch and assist with the originating, processing, and funding of various consumer loans offered by the credit union.
  • Regularly meet or exceed the quality control standards set for the loans funded.
  • Act as the outbound calling spokesperson for new promotional and pre-approval campaigns.
  • Properly handle member's cash with precision and energetically address and resolve all member’s requests, inquiries, and questions.
  • Aid our members with their opening and closing of various accounts offered by the Credit Union by following up with new account holders in person or by phone.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent.
  • Some college coursework preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • At least two (2) years of experience operating in a Financial Services Representative or Member Service Representative type capacity at a full-service financial institution.

The minimum and maximum annualized hourly base range for this position is $20.26 to $30.39 in California. The target starting hourly rate is between $20.26 to $25.33.
