The He! althcare Revenue Management Sub-Practice focuses on assisting their clients achieve the highest levels of efficiency, adapt core strategies to deal with dynamic market forces, optimize the deployment of financial resources and manage the risks of ever present 'unknowns'. The Revenue Management encompasses all administrative and clinical functions that contribute to the capture, management, and collection of patient service revenue. It involves core business processes that cross administrative, financial and clinical department boundaries. The Revenue Management begins and ends with the patient. It is optimized and improved through strategic initiatives that are embraced by leadership and consider organizational strategy, people, process and enabling technologies.

Responsibilities:
NCI is seeking a RN with Case Management experience and knowledge of coding requirements. The individual must have hands-on prior clinical and operations experience in the prov! ider setting. The Clinical Documentation Consultant will be performing inpatient documentation review, training CDI to hospital designated staff on the requirements for ICD9 and reimbursement implications. The candidate will audit outpatient & inpatient records, conduct one to one coaching for physicians (inpatient services), and conduct physician training. Managing Consultant candidates must have experience in measuring performance outcomes.
Our Managing Consultants have overall responsibility for project management, client management, solution design and implementation and generation of engagement results. Working with client project leaders and effectively using change management strategies, guides the client through transformation efforts.

Qualifications - Required:
Minimum 5 years experience adult inpatient medical/surgical or critical care Current U.S. RN license B.S. degree in a clinical discipline (nursing, respiratory therapy, etc.) or equivalent experience is required Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills and ability to independently produce documents or aptitude to develop this level of skill within a defined period of time Flexible, positive, clear interpersonal and communication skills with ability to facilitate the exchange of information within all l! evels of NCI as well as a provider based, client organization, including, but not limited to, surgeons, anesthesiologists, hospital executives, and other professional and ancillary staff Analytical skills related to independently interpreting, preparing and analyzing budget and workload data Knowledge of ICD10 coding and specificity of documentation changes Knowledge of and ability to ensure and promote, consistent, quality oriented, national leading practices, in all Clinical Documentation Improvement Projects Management experience including facilitation and supervision preferred Capacity to adapt and lead others to understand and accept values, strategies, goals and plans in response to changing business conditions Ability and willingness to travel up to full time Qualifications - Preferred:
Consulting experience Certified ICD10 trainer Working knowledge of the reimbursement cycle and DRGs Able to educate and present to clinicians and physicians Graduate degree from a! ccredited college or university
