Maxim Government Services is searching for qualified Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists for our client, the Marion, IL VA Medic! al Center. Any state license works. Maxim covers your malpractice insurance.
Additional compensation may be included for lodging, relocation, and per diem expenses for travel applicants.Please contact Kim Taylor at [Click Job Title to Apply] or send a copy of your CV to [Click Job Title to Apply] for more information.Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) services as required by the VA Medical Center, Marion, Illinois. Surgical procedures and services include, but are not limited to general surgery, urology, orthopedic, minor ENT, and ophthalmology procedures. VA Medical Center, 2401 West Main Street, Marion, Illinois. The services to be performed by the CRNA shall be under the general direction of the Anesthesiologist and/or attending surgeon.
Anesthesia administration will be documented on the Anesthesia Record. An electronic progress note will be entered after completion of the surgical case. The Anesthesia Record will then be scanned and attache! d to the electronic note. All patient encounters will be docum! ented in the electronic medical record.The Anesthesiologist and/or attending surgeon shall monitor performance through direct observation as well as observation of work results on an outgoing daily basis.
Qualifications: Shall be certified to provide the services of this contract and licensed in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the Distrsict of Columbia to provide services. All licenses held by the personnel working on this contract shall be full and unrestricted licenses. The qualifications of such personnel shall also be subject to review by the VAMC Chief of Staff and approval by the VAMC Director. Health care providers must have Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Candidates must have a minimum of one year experience in providing general anesthesiology services. Candidates must be American Citizens and be proficient in both written and spoken English.All CRNAs will be requir! ed to enter all reports and medical treatment orders for incorporation into the computer patient record system (VistA/CPRS) on the day of the visit and satisfy VHA and medical center policies and JCAHO requirement for documentation. CRNAs must possess computer skills to access and input typed data on each patient into the computer patient record system (VistA/CPRS) utilized by the VA.
