The Continuing Medical Education Manager will provide strategic and tactical direction for the execution of the cycle of contin! uing medical education activities from the regulatory, compliance, and educational outcomes perspectives. The desired outcome of executing the strategic and tactical plans is to position the ASA as a leader in continuing medical education by maintaining accreditation with commendation status through the current and future accreditation periods.
Position Responsibilities (Expected Work):
This position is not static and will be revised as the need of the organization’s business evolves.
Major Activity: Plan, develop and implement strategy for maintaining accreditation with commendation
Major Activity: Oversee joint sponsorship initiative
Major Activity: Manage direct reports’ performance according to agreed strategic initiatives, targets and budgets, and within policies, standards and timelines
Major Activity: Liaise with Senior Management to ensure the Continuing Medical Education Team ha! s the needed resources to perform its functions and deliverabl! es
Major Activity: Collect, organize and analyze outcomes data; ensure data are readily available for Education Department and ASA Committee members for planning activities
Major Activity: Align CME initiatives and capabilities with ASA and departmental priorities
Major Activity: Other duties may be assigned.
