Provides direct & indirect patient care in the PACU setting u nder direction of charge nurse . Communicates with charge nurse, surgeon, anesthesiologist, nur! se manager, & co-workers, as appropriate regarding changes in patient’s clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies. Responds quickly & accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Requirements are: Current State of IL registered nurse licensure, g raduate of an accredited school of nursing, competence in advanced adult & pediatric life support, effective written & verbal communication in English. Physical demands are: s tooping, bending & lifting. Stands & walks most of the day. Transfers patients from stretchers & wheelchairs. Performance will reflect and support St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital ’s mission, vision and core values.
