Description
The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) shall provide therapeutic and quality surgical and obstetrical anesthesia and related services to all pa! tients. The CRNA will be licensed by the State of Illinois to practice professional nursing within the statutory requirements of the Illinois Advanced Practice for Nurse Anesthesia, to use the designation CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist), adhere to standard anesthesia techniques, and to work in compliance with Hospital, Department of Anesthesia, and Department of Surgical Services policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Education:
1. Graduate from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia.
Experience:
1. Graduate from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia. Will accept new graduates.
Licenses/Certificates:
1.
Current (pending) Illinois CRNA license.
2.
Current CCNA certification.
3.
Current ACLS certification
