VISTA Physician Search and Consulting is representing a private practice opportunity seeking a General Surgeon. ! Benefits of this permanent position include:

- Join an established private practice which draws from the entire southern Illinois region
- Hospital administration and referring physicians are fully supportive of the practice and committed to its continued success
- Average week: 3-4 days in clinic, 1-2 days in the operating room
- Operating room staff is experienced, knowledgeable and open to learning new procedures
- Anesthesia is excellent! Covered by reliable MDs and CRNAs
- Bread and butter General Surgery procedures, with the opportunity to expand
- New General Surgeons will have an immediate volume of patients from the local primary care referral base
- Partnership in the practice is available within 1-2 years
- Partnership in the private modern surgery center is also available
- Call is 1:3
- Income guarantee with the hospital (typically 12 months)
- Base salary of $330,000 and up depending on experience!
- WRVU bonus on top of salary as well as sign-on and commencement bonus
- CME: $2,500 and five days annually
- Excellent benefits including paid vacation, loan repayment, full health, dental, life and disability insurance, relocation and organization pays up to $1,500 in licenses, dues and subscriptions
- Cover only one clinic, less than one minute from the hospital
- Newly constructed 92-bed full-service hospital
